SAGE & THYME training is the most established, evidence-based and widely taught foundation level communication skills training in the NHS and hospices in the UK. It has been run by many organisations since 2010.
We are a small friendly team of trainers (mainly freelance), administrative and business staff. The core team is based in Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
Our mission is to teach communication skills and psychological support (using the SAGE & THYME structure) at a level that is suitable for anyone. To do this, we unlock the training potential in other organisations by teaching their staff how to use the SAGE & THYME structure in conversations and how to run the SAGE & THYME workshop (either face to face or online) themselves.
We are looking for an experienced communication skills trainer to run the SAGE & THYME Foundation Level workshop and train others how to run it (in the SATFAC course), and to also possibly teach SAGE & THYME Online.
This person would provide services to MFT (either self-employed or from their own company), rather than being an employee of MFT.
